Anastasia Sosunova’s practice encompasses video, graphic art, sculpture and site-specific installation, and revolves around laws of contemporary culture and biopolitics. By delving into her surroundings, interacting with communities and analyzing personal background, she tries to articulate collective and individual myths of the “alien” in various contexts. In her current projects she is working with structures of private and public spaces, exploring the correlation between the feeling of unbelonging and social environment.
